This spring and throughout 2024 you can visit our earthship prototype in Falköping for an exciting, immersive, on site weekend seminar about permaculture - to set you up for sustainable living.
The seminar costs only 2500 SEK and will be cycled twice a months throughout the year to make it available for any paying student.
About the site
ENGINEERING GREEN ARCHITECTURE (biotecture)
The Midgaard Blackship explores the unique qualities of green architecture with an undivided devotion to sustainable housing and agriculture.
Administrated by the Medince Ways Co-operative (Ekonomisk Forening), the Falköping site serves as a prototype for sustainable housing in the colder parts of the Northern hemisphere.
The earthship in Falköping and associated earthships are guided by the principles of permaculture.
The Midgaard Blackship is built in the center of of 6 acres of land dedicated to fruit trees, vegetable gardens, composting facilities, irrigation and recreational areas sufficient to feed a family for seven generations with the lowest possible C02 footprint.
